Utilising Credit Insurance for the benefit of our customers and the business

You may be wondering 'what is Credit Insurance?'

Fact or Fiction? Are Financial Forecasts worth the paper they’re written on?

The usefulness of your Financial Forecast very much depends on how regularly you adjust the forecast figures against actual figures AND then amend your Financial Forecast accordingly. They should act as a real-time benchmark for the growth and financial health of your business and let you know if you are on track for the business to reach its goals.

Four Candles! Understanding your customers needs

A big part of customer service is relating to each customer and understanding their individual needs.  Jordan, our Sales Counter Supervisor, will tell you that needs can be purchase requirements as well as personal needs.

Matters in Life and Death

A friend of mine sadly died recently which brought to the forefront of my mind not only the grief and sorrow that follows a death but also the utter chaos that can ensue.

To Buy, or Not to Buy? The Skills of Negotiating

Negotiation is used in all walks of life from getting a good deal on your new car, threatening to leave your current TV provider if they don’t offer you a cheaper package and sometimes in my case where we are going out for dinner on a Saturday evening. It’s not just used in business and the theory behind negotiation is the same, it’s a give and take process between two or more parties (it would be pretty pointless negotiating with yourself) where compromise is made, and a mutual agreement is reached. A good negotiator doesn’t want to leave the other party feeling defeated as this could result in them being reluctant to do any further negotiations in the future, achieving a win / win agreement helps build and maintain a healthy business relationship going forward.

Licensed to Kill? Are your vehicles road-worthy and legal?

Every company vehicle has to comply with vehicle safety regulations, and of course have paid road tax (where applicable) and have valid insurance cover.

Lamberts brings the safety of young children into the spot-light

When the clocks went back in October and the daylight hours decreased, the issue of a child’s safety as they walk along busy roads in the dark again became the main topic of conversation.  Too often a child is hurt, or worse, in a road accident because they were just ‘not seen’.  Teachers across the country were explaining to their pupils the importance of ‘being safe and being seen’ by other road users.
